Use a Language Study Planner To SUPERCHARGE Your Language Learning
What is a language learning planner?
A language learning planner is a printable PDF that is designed to aid independent foreign language study. It is used by learners of a range of languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, English, Japanese etc. to improve their language skills no matter their level, whether they are a beginner, intermediate or advanced learner.
It can be used by all ages and is for anyone who is dedicated to their language learning and has the desire to extend their skills. A language learning planner usually contains a variety of pages to help with all areas of language acquisition such as pages to help with vocabulary learning and grammar learning as well as pages designed for setting language focused goals.
How can a language learning planner help with independent language study?
A language learning planner helps independent language learning students drastically as it can act as a motivator to learn and also provide structure to a student’s learning. In particular the language learning planner that I have designed encourages students to make a personalised study plan by setting SMART goals to help them maintain direction, focus and motivation while learning their chosen language. Students are encouraged to make short term, mid term and long term goals in this planner as language learning is a long difficult process and especially paired with the goals progress tracker it helps students see their progress and how they have improved.
The planner also allows for language students to be more organised which makes the learning process simpler and easier. For example, when learning vocabulary a language student is able to write out their new words with definitions on a single sheet dedicated to vocabulary. This means that all of their vocabulary is in one place which makes it easier to revise.
Printable or Digital Language Study Planners.
Which one is right for you?
I offer both a printable and digital language learning planner which are both very useful tools for language learners. They are both PDF documents with the printable version designed for printing and the digital version designed for use on an iPad or tablet and includes hyperlinks.
If you are already an iPad/tablet user and a fan of digital planning, the digital version is definitely for you. But if you are more of a pen and paper person, the printable version is more suited to you.
No matter which type of planner you decide on using, the best feature is that you can re-use it again and again and print/duplicate specific pages that you want to use again! Find out more information in the table below:
