1. An iPad Keyboard Case To Take Typed Notes
Probably the biggest reason why laptops are still the preferred device for students over iPads is that you can type must quicker on them and thus get your work done much faster! However now you can overcome this problem by getting an iPad Keyboard case. And the best news yet, it doesn’t have to be the really unaffordable magic keyboard by Apple. There are plenty of other more affordable options perfect for students on the market!
These iPad Keyboard Cases Are Quite Affordable:
1. GreenLaw iPad Pro 11 Case with Keyboard 2020/2018 (1st/ 2nd Generation) – 360 Rotatable – Wireless/BT – Backlit 17 Color – Auto Sleep Wake – Support Apple Pencil 2nd Gen Charging, Black

2. A Stylus If You Take Creative Subjects
Another great iPad accessory to buy as a student is an iPad stylus, especially if you take creative subjects, want to take handwritten notes or just love to draw!
By far, the best stylus is the Apple Pencil. Either the 1st or 2nd generation depending on what iPad you have. While they are expensive, they are the best as it will give the smoothest, thinnest line and more detailed handwriting. Also they feel quite comfortable in the hand, have palm rejection and also pressure sensitivity which overall delivers a better experience.

3. A Digital iPad Planner
One of my favourite accessories for an iPad is a digital planner. I am not the biggest fan of physical paper diaries as they weigh quite a lot to carry to and from school each day. Digital planners are a great solution as they are stored on your iPad and can be used in an application like GoodNotes or Notability. You can handwrite in them just like a real diary and plan out your perfect day. I also really like the navigation systems on digital planners for iPads as they have hyperlinked tabs that let you move between months easily, kind of like flicking through a book.

4. A Good Quality iPad Case That Is Also Stylish!
As a student you definitely want to look for a good quality iPad case to protect against daily wear and tear but you definitely don’t want it to be one of those thick and clunky ones that don’t take aesthetics into consideration at all!
I Really Like These Ones:
1. ZryXal Premium Protective Case Cover with Soft TPU Back and Auto Sleep/Wake Feature for 2020/2018 iPad Pro 11 (Pink)

5. A USB Hub
Using an iPad as a student can be limiting in aspects surrounding additional hardware that can be used on a laptop relatively easily. In saying this I mean that you can’t use a USB, headphone jack, HDMI cable, SD card etc. as there is only the charging port.
Instead of purchasing Apple’s adapters that generally come in individual, separate pieces, meaning that you have to buy a separate adapter for a USB and another one for a headphone jack, you could get a USB/Cable Hub. These hubs have nearly every cable slot that you would ever need all in a slim line adapter.
Personally I think that the extra USB port would be extremely helpful as a student for transferring and sharing files with other students as well as for submitting work to teachers.
This USB Hub Is Very Good Quality:
RAYROW USB C Hub for iPad Pro 2018 2020 iPad Air 4, 6 in 1 USB C ipad Adapter with USB 3.0, SD/TF Card Reader, 3.5mm Headphone Jack, PD Charging, 4K HDMI iPad Pro 11″/12.9″ & MacBook Pro

6. A Portable Charger
Are you the student that is always asking others if they have a spare charger in their bag for your iPad? Do you often find yourself not in luck as everyone has a different device? That is why getting a portable charger is a really good idea!
Portable chargers are generally really slimline and super light to put into your daily backpack. They are a must have iPad accessory for students as they come really handy in the situation where you need to finish off some school work but your iPad is about to run out and there is no charging station available! Also they can charge lots of other devices that you might have like your mobile phone or AirPods.
One Of These Portable Chargers Can Fully Charge An iPad Air 1.3 times Without Needing A Re-Charge!
INIU Portable Charger, USB C Slimmest & Lightest Triple 3A High-Speed 10000mAh Power Bank, Flashlight Battery Pack Compatible with iPhone 12 11 X 8 Plus Samsung S20 Google LG iPad etc. [2021 Version]

Pro Tip: Before purchasing a portable charger make sure that it has a cable that is appropriate for your iPad model. This is especially the case for iPad Pros as they do not have more common lightning adaptor as a charging cable.
7. A Paper Texture Screen Protector For A Better Handwriting Experience
Many students complain about how the experience of handwriting on an iPad is nothing like writing on paper at all. And while this is true, you are writing on glass after all, you can reduce the slipperiness of the surface by putting on a paper texture screen protector.
The Paperlike Screen Protector Is A Very Popular Option:
Paperlike (2 Pieces) for iPad Air 10.5 Inch (2019) and iPad Pro 10.5 Inch (2017) Anti-glare, Matte Screen Protector
